2025 PI Meeting 3
Held February 4th, 5th & 6th 2025
The 2025 RINGS PI Meeting was a 2 1/2-day event hosted at Qualcomm in San Diego, CA. for the RINGS community to connect in person through a variety of interactive workshops, presentations, posters sessions, brainstorming sessions, and social events. This was as an opportunity to share research successes and challenges, meet new researchers and industry partners, and to discuss future technology outlooks.

RINGS-VO Online Workshop #2 (2024-01-31)
The January 31, 2024 RINGS-VO Online Workshop #2 featured two guest speakers:
For The WebAssembly project (Ben Titzer, Heather Miller, Claire Le Goues, Carnegie-Mellon University), Ben shared information about two papers they published on the Wizard engine and a third in the publication review process. They shared results on fault injection as well.
For Walk For Resiliency & Privacy: A Random Walk Framework for Learning at the Edge (Salim El Rouayheb, Rutgers; Hulya Seferoglu, UIC; Erdem Koyuncu, UIC), Hulya discussed an early win in devising novel decentralized algorithms for learning via random walks that avoid the reliability setbacks and privacy vulnerabilities of relying on centralized servers. They provided several variants of algorithms that can adapt to different network and data heterogeneity to speed up convergence.
