Food and refreshments will be provided at no charge during the PI meeting. We recognize some attendees may need to make arrangements due to government ethical rules restricting giving and accepting gifts from outside interests.

As facility host, IBM’s policy requires any visitor who is employed by a government owned entity to complete and submit paperwork in advance of their visit.

For these purposes, a government owned entity includes government agencies, FFRDCs, and any company that may potentially be owned by a branch of government. It also includes professors and employees of government owned universities (e.g., employees of state universities like University of California, etc.).

If you are uncertain if you are employed by a government-owned entity, you should also complete the paperwork.

Please note:

  • If an attendee would like to pay cash onsite at the event, they can do so.
    • Choose option 4 on the IBM visitor form.
    • You will have the option to pay cash for any (or all) breakfast/lunch/refreshment offerings.
    • IBM will provide a receipt, if desired, for the exact amount paid in cash.

Email the completed form, along with requisite signatures, to Dinesh Verma (dverma@us.ibm.com) and Guiselle Garcia (guimunoz@cr.ibm.com).

Forms must be returned to IBM by close of business on June 10, 2024 to allow time for them to complete their process prior to the RINGS PI Meeting.
